the Willow stamps

Julie from the Willow in downtown Exeter, NH asked me to carve her logo into a big stamp and a little stamp, so she could make her own gift/shopping bags. I didn't design it, but it was a lot of fun carving! turns out, linoleum and an ink pad don't show up at all. so I used block printing ink, my roller and my hands to print the first 100 bags and boxes. it was hard work, but exciting because my work will be included in every Willow purchase! here's pictures of all the bags drying in my studio...
